George has been in and around the car business all his life. He started working with his father, George Kruse Sr. at George Kruse Inc. in Virden when he was a teenager. Started with sweeping floors and worked his way up to mechanic, then parts/service manager and eventually sales person. George then went out on his own and started his own pre-owned, new & used car dealership in 1989 at his home in Rural Girard. Now, over 25 years later he has 2 locations in Girard & 2 in Virden. George has been married to Carol (Watts) for 47 years and they have 1 daughter, Lesley and 1 grandson, Ayden.
